For Spring/Summer 2018 Acephala decided to play on the idea of the power suit. Our aim was to create an alternative to business attire with a set of anti-uniforms for creative workers. Inspiration for the collection came from the analysis of working rituals and the belief that clothes can have an affect on the creative process and its stages. The collection is built around different work related situations and emotional states: “Writing emails in bed”, “Conference call on Skype”, “Office work”, “Running errands in town”, “Business lunch”, “Just one meeting today”, “I need to focus”, “Deadline is coming”, “I need a day off” and “Networking gala”.  The narrative we present in this paper tells of a woman who instead of blocking out mental states arose from various creative processes, dresses her neurosis on.
